Totalna glupost, izgleda da su ljudi na sve spremni.

Vidim da su forumi poludili sa tim obavijestima, ali to vjerojatno NIJE ISTINA nego prvoaprilska šala Pomislite, igraju na apsolutno sve strahove fanova. Užasan hardcover? Rand izgleda kao invalid u disko klubu. PREloše. Neće biti hardcovera, nego samo trade paperback? Ma nema teorije. Podijeljeno u tri dijela, sa razmakom od godine između svakoga? HAHAHA. Da ne spominjem kako je font sa Knife of Dreams, kako na naslovnici piše Book 1 of a Memory of Light a Wheel of Time se ne spominje i kako piše "nastavak na Crossroads of Twilight", a ne Knife of Dreams, ovo čak najviše otkriva da se radi o zajebanciji.
Ali odlična im je fora, moram priznati! Zajebali su skoro cijeli fandom, joj kako ću se smijati kada objave da je šala

edit: zboravih spomenuti kako je na coveru odsječena Randova LIJEVA ruka. a u knjizi desna. još jedan znak da se radi o zafrkanciji

The last four books in the series were all #1 New York Times bestsellers, and for over a decade readers have been eagerly awaiting the conclusion to the epic story.

Harriet McDougal said on the process behind A Memory of Light: “The scope and size of the novel was such that it could not be contained in a single volume, It was a piece of marvellous good fortune that Brandon Sanderson undertook the work. He is a great pleasure to work with, as well as a wonderful writer.”

Sada je puno jasnije zašto se knjiga dijeli na tri dijela (prvi dio će biti 300k riječi) i mislim da je zapravo to dobra odluka. I izgleda da izdavač ipak nije tolika lovožderuča zvijer kakvom ga smatraju...

Pa dovoljno se najeo do sada sa Džordanovim radovima tako da sad malo planduje.

Last night--Monday night--I pulled an all-nighter finishing up THE GATHERING STORM and sending it off to Harriet and company. In essence, the book is now complete. I suspect there will be another hasty round of revisions this weekend, but the book really needs to be in ASAP. We're already over-deadline in getting it in, and Tor is going to have to pay overtime at the printer in order to get it out in November. (Tom has already said he'd do this, so it's not a big issue, but every day counts. Hence the all-night revision marathon.)

So yes, it's done. Almost. Kind of. Now we begin the long wait for copyediting, proofreading, and printing. I can now confirm that--for certain--the cover thumbnail passed around last week was nothing more than a mock-up. I've now seen the cover, and while the general composition is the same as the thumbnail, this version is much better. (For one thing, Rand is no longer busting a move with his back to us, but is turned face-front and standing in a different position.)

Cuo sam za ove vesti ima vec neko vreme, i smatram da je ovo totalna budalastina. Jeb*ni ameri i njihove zene koje su gladne para. Dzordan je i sam bio svestan da ce knjiga biti ogromna, koliko se secam rekao je 'trebace vam kolica da je iznesete iz radnje' ali je isto tako rekao da ce je objaviti u jednom tomu. Ovo samo dokazuje koliki je udio imala njegova zena u stvaranju serijala i koliko ga je upropastila.

procitao sam Sandersonov blog... pisac deluje vrlo odgovorno, radi dve smene vec mesecima, a pise knjigu koja ima 800 000 reci, sa dva metra knjiga pre toga. Mislim da ce biti ok...

dajte ljudi niste valjda stvarno ocekivali da se serijal zavrsi sa jos jednom knjigom? dzordan je toliko rasplinuo pricu da je to prosto nemoguce, 3 su taman. daj barem da ga zavrse kako treba

Pazi, ono sto ce oni da urade, jeste da vec napisanu knjigu podele u 3 dela, sto je meni cisto mlacenje para. Zar nisam u pravu? Zena hoce da izvuce gomilu novca i to je to.

ne znam detalje, ali ne moras striktno biti u pravu. onda bi isto tako znacilo i da je dzordan hteo da izvuce sto vise novca, zar ne? neke knjige realno nije morao ni da izdaje, npr path of daggers, o cot-u da ne pricam

Jest' brate, PoD je najgluplja knjiga u serijalu (barem meni). Skroz bespotrebna, samo zenski likovi vode kolo u citavoj knjizi, da ne pominjem cinjenicu da se Met uopste ne pojavljuje.
